No Pleasure in Death
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Ezekiel 18:32
Some may think God takes pleasure in our death. He does not. He does not take pleasure in our death. But it happens. We die. Thanks Adam. Thanks Eve. Well, I could blame them, but who is to say I wouldn’t have fallen for the same thing back then. I have done my share of falling over the years. In fact, before Christ, I planned my life around sin.

She talked about the Word and about… Continue reading
Offense of the Gospel
He who knows God hears us, he who is of God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. John 4:6
God’s Word was meant for God’s people. It was not meant for the unbeliever. Those who are not of God, do not hear the Word. They cannot understand it, unless the Spirit quickens them so they can hear and believe.
Without the Spirit of God in a person, what someone hears or reads means nothing. All that persons hears or sees is a bunch of contradictions and foolishness. The Cross is foolishness. Without the Holy Spirit, the Gospel seems offensive to those… Continue reading

A good memory isn’t always a blessing, any more than forgetfulness has necessarily be a curse. It’s what you choose to remember, and choose to forget, that in the end will make or break your day…maybe even the rest of your life.
