Dream

Now, that’s a God-sized dream. A vision beyond my resources and most people I know. However, it is not a vision beyond God’s resources. Currently, we are putting into place a plan to fulfill the dream. Continue reading

A Teenager’s Philosophy on Life

Then she ends, “This is my philosophy, yet it is not mine, but I am God’s, and whatever I have is His and I have faith that He is the only answer and I love Him so.”

Gods Glory, Discipleship | MateiralThis sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it. John 11:5

Most people would never think God uses sickness for His glory. I certainly do not think in those terms. Even so, if God can turn anything that looks bad into His glory, then why would He not use sickness for His glory?

I believe some of the most godly people are not only those who live the right life, but those who die right. Those who know where they are headed and look forward to the Lord calling them home. These believers never lose sight of the Lord… Continue reading

God Remains Faithful | Basic Training | Discipleship Material

What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Romans 3:3

Have you ever heard someone say to you, “You may believe that way, but I don’t”? I have heard something similar to it many times, over the past few years, from people who disagree with my politics to others who disagree with my faith. It’s not uncommon to hear this today.

Some may say, “You may believe in God, but I don’t.” Does their unfaithfulness toward God make it so? Imagine, if everyone

The Cup of Suffering and Christ’s Crucifixion

We don’t know why Jesus felt the way He did. We like to spiritualize and say it had nothing to do with the pain and agony of the cross. I don’t know if is true or not. The Word does not tell us about this regarding Christ’s crucifixion. But something about this event caused our Lord to sweat blood. Was it the separation from His Father? Was it taking on the sins of the world? Was it the physical pain? We’re not told. However, something about this event caused Jesus to ask His Father to find another way to redeem man, but if that was not possible, then so be it. He would carry out the Father’s will. From the Pot to the Frying Pan

Sometimes, we find ourselves in unbearable situations and we want to run. Believe me, this happened to me too. I was in one of those situations and I ran, only find myself in a place I hated even more. In fact, the second place took me six months to realize it was not for me and I took off again. Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” James 4:13

How many of us have put plans together only to see them fall a part? I know, I have done this, especially when it comes to investing. Over the years, I have listened and tried so many get rich ideas. Many of these ideas ended up taking my money and leaving me with less money than when I started. And while the ideas never made me wealthy, they did teach me some great lessons. Such as, when we plan our own plans, without the Lord being in them, they will eventually fail.

Several years ago, a man… Continue reading

Entering His Rest

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. (Hebrews 4:1 NIV)

True believers find rest in Christ. It’s that simple. There is a peace that comes on we when we settle our eternity through Christ.

Have you ever tried to explain the peace God gives you through Christ? It’s almost impossible. Those, without Christ, cannot know this peace.

As Christians, when we have assurance of our salvation, we rest. What do we rest from? We rest from our works. We rest from trying to carve our own path to heaven.

Recently, someone asked… Continue reading
