Paul Washer - Breaking over the Lost Souls

This one will change your heart about evangelism. We have really prostituted the Gospel. Many miss true salvation.

Remember, repentance leads to salvation.

Adrift Among the Dead

I am like a man who has no strength, adrift among the dead. Psalm 88:4b-5

When you read Psalm 88, you imagine someone crying out to God, as he neared the end of his life, wanting desperately to know God heard him. This man feared death. He felt adrift among the dead. No doubt, there is little hope in this Psalm.

What about those great men who died without Christ? How did they feel, knowing they rejected Him?  On their death beds, with no hope in eternity, what were their last words? These men placed all their hopes in this life. They placed all their hope in their accomplishments and their works. How awful it must have been to be on one’s death bed without hope, without an eternity to look forward… Continue reading

David Wilkerson’s Warning

David Wilkerson is one of those men who knows God. He is an inspiration to me. I have most of his Pulpit Series Newsletters from the last 20 years. David is a prophet, or watchman for this time. Over the last 20 years, I have seen his warnings come to pass.

This is his latest warning. It’s a reminder about how God will not be mocked and his mercy will run out.

It’s a wake up call. Will we heed it?

An Urgent Message:

Nothing on This Earth Satisfies

All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.  Ecclesiastes 6:7

I just finished watching “Pistol,” the story of “Pistol” Pete Maravich’s early years. The movie is about a 13 year old who is so talented he starts on the varsity basketball team. Not just any team, a state championship team.

Pete gave people what they wanted to see “showtime.”  His father Press instilled in Pete the need to practice and the love of basketball.

Pete holds many basketball records today, including scoring 68 points in one game. You watch Pete and you wonder how one man can be so skillful in shooting, passing, dribbling. He made passes you couldn’t detect. He seemed to have eyes in the back of… Continue reading

God Still Answers Prayer

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

I wonder , do you really believe these two verses? Do you believe God will give you whatever you ask, when you ask according to His will? Do you?  Do you believe God can provide for you? Do you?

This is one of the hardest concepts for me to grasp, because I feel, at times, so unworthy. There are billions and billions of people on earth. Many of these pray to the Lord and many pray to their idols or some false god. Yes, every year, billions of prayers… Continue reading

Remaining Fruitful in the Midst of a Drought

They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. (Psalm 107:4-6)

I was struck by the fact, in California, people who have lost their jobs are now living in tent cities to survive. These people were successful business people who lost everything and have no where else to go. They’ve  lost their homes. They have no incomes. They were cooking their food in tin cans. I had to pinch myself. This was not some third world country I was seeing. This was America. And these were American citizens.

No doubt, the financial situation we currently face has hurt many people… Continue reading

Fallen, Fallen, Fallen - Paul Washer

Here is a short video by Paul Washer, teaching about the narrow way. The narrow way is a full submission to the Lord. It is entering the gate as one and following the Lord, carrying out His will and dying to everything that is not of Him.

All is vanity, without Christ. It is fighting against the world. This is the only way, the only hope. Heaven is the goal. If I have to lose everything, then I will lose it.

Your Heavy Hand Was Upon Me

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. Psalm 32:3-4

Have you ever felt the heavy hand of God? I have. It’s horrible. When it is upon you, you cannot do anything but duck and run from Him.

This happened to me yesterday. A crisis of faith hit and I really did not know what to do. I was caught in the middle of something, where I had no good option.

My predicament was such that I had to choose between exposing something that was wrong and causing someone to lose financially, by exposing what I knew, or keeping quiet and feeling ashamed before the Lord. And… Continue reading
