Raising Funds For Orissa and School Pastors in India:
Beloved Dear Folks,
Greetings to you in HIS precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
This is Rev. Dr. John KR and National Director for UFAC-GSDO Ministries in India. I am sharing this incident with great agony which come from the bottom of my heart.
What is happening to Christians and Pastors in India ? India is a big democratic country and we have secular freedom.Anybody can worship any God according to their will. You all know India is a big idol worshipping country and people are filled with their religious traditions and customs.They only trust in Hinduism.
Now the time has come for the Christians and specially in some particular states like Orissa and Andhra Pradesh.There is no safe place for the Christians or the Pastors families or for the Pastors lives.
Every day is full of uncertainties, whether we will live or die. We think about what type of attack we have to face today. No peace or no happiness in the faces of Christians.
There is an anti-Christian gang called VHP and this organization wants to develop only Hinduism in India and none should fallow Christianity. They feel that Christianity should be ruined.It should be wiped out. No one should worship Lord Jesus Christ! This organization feel that Christianity is an untouchable community and the Pastors are trying to convert people forcely into Christianity. This has been happening for the years.
But now the activities of VHP have worsened. Now, they are directly attacking the Christian families,damaging property, killing Pastors and Christian people.They are attacking the churches. No protection for the Pastors.
People in Orissa state are helpless to protect themselves They run to the forests to hide themselves while the gangs attack them at midnight.They rape unmarried women; even the little children are not spared. Many have lost their parents.They even kill the children. Reports received that thousands of Christian homes were burned down, many people were brutally murdered and many are living away in remote unknown hide outs, without food and clothes to change. Many are living in the shelters. Every day they are attacking different parts of the areas like this.
Between these unbearable situations, Christian people at midnight put their lives in their arms and run to the forests. Before this they killed 2 missionaries from Australia who came for the preaching along with their children by pouring petrol on their car. They were burned alive.
Same is happening in Hyderabad area also. They are attacking the churches. Killing Pastors. Pray for our safety and ministries. Yet we are continuing our outreach and preaching the Gospel for the unreached. You can see how bad it is from the pictures.
Folks, this is the time for you to think. Please help the people who were attacked, who were killed and their families. Please make them happy with your contributions at this Christmas Eve. You would really blessed if you can save some thing for these families and help to make them forget about the bitter situations that happened in their lives before Christmas
We are raising funds for 65 brave Pastors and their families, as well as others affected by these gangs. Don’t say NO, but think and decide to comfort their families with your love gift of $20.00. They are utterly in need.They have nothing.They lost everything for HIM.
God would reward you for everything that you have done for HIS people while they are in desperate need and agony.Please take part and make them happy at this Christmas Season.
